My school
My school is called Turnić Elementary School. The address of the school is 20 Franje Čandeka Street.
It is a day school, but it works in two shifts. The students are between 7 and 15 years old. Our school is quite big and it has got two wings. The old wing is a little shabby but the new one is modern and very spacious. There is a canteen close to the entrance. The classrooms for lower classes are on the first floor. In the new wing there are a lot of classrooms for different subjects. Our school is the only school in Rijeka that has got a gym on top of the building (the top floor).
There are 33 teachers, 6 cleaners, a school psychologist, a librarian, 2 janitors and the headmistress is Mrs Ljiljana Kulaš Jutrović. My favourite subject is Croatian because I like writing essays and it is very interesting. I do not like History, history is OK but the teacher is very strict.
I like our school, it is good, it is sometimes a little hard but we all like it.

My school
My school’s name is Turnić Elementary school. Its address is 20 Franje Čandeka Street. It is old but it is getting renovated. Our headmistress is Ljiljana Kulaš Jutrović.
In my school there are more than 30 teachers and over 380 pupils. It has got about 30 classrooms. It has also got a playground with two basketball hoops. There are all kinds of subjects: Maths, Biology, Science, Chemistry, PE, IT, Geography, History, Croatian, English, Italian and a few more. We cannot learn French, German or Latin in our school. There are some activities: choir, orchestra, drama group, art group, badminton, basketball . . . We had chess group too, but now we do not have it any more. Some teachers are nice, some teachers are strict. There is at least one strict teacher on each floor. Right now, some construction workers are renovating some of the rooms. Our school is a bit shabby because of the cracks on the ceilings and broken tiles on the walls but I like it. My school is getting better and better because of the new headmistress, she is modernizing the school, she even put a vending machine in a school corridor.
I really like my school, it has got everything.
