| 2016-10-03 13:25:00 Beatrix Potter Beatrix Potter was an English writer. She loved the countryside and spent much of her childhood drawing and studying animals. She wrote some of the most popular children's books of all time. One of them is The Tale of Peter Rabbit, published in 1902.
Even today, a hundred years later, children enjoy reading the tale of a naughty little rabbit’s escape from Mr McGregor’s garden. It was by sheer luck that he escaped death.
