2019-01-30 09:57:00 Reflexive Pronouns Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject of the sentence is the same as the object. Reflexive pronouns end in "-self" (singular) or "-selves" (plural). We translate them into Croatian in two ways: "sebe/se" and "sam/sama/samo". E. g. He cut himself yesterday. (Porezao se je jučer.) She has done the homework herself. (Sama je napisala domaću zadaću.) When the subject of the sentence is not the same as the object of the sentence, you have to use object pronouns: A: Is Jane all right? B: No. Someone hit her with a tennis racquet.
